r tulations to the clubs that applied to the VFGC Grant Program
with projects that will beautify their communities. We want these brief
descriptions to inspire other clubs to plan a community beautification or

Cong a
received $1,000 for updating plantings at
the entrance to the South Boston – Halifax County Museum of Fine Arts
and History. Plantings for this project will highlight America’s 250th
Anniversary. Five large outdoor planters were planted with Dwar f Alberta

made for the Museum!
South Boston Garden Club (SC)

to grow their plans for the plantings that will be included in the garden.
Rose and Garden Club of Halifax (SC)
