Investing in the Future - VFGC Scholarships

2025-26 VFGC Scholarship Committee received several applications for
evaluation and narrowed selections down to six outstanding candidates:
The
r ty Roberts, sophomore, Radford University majoring in biology with
emphasis on ecology was awarded the Betsy Edwards Scholarship $2,000.00
and a VFGC scholarship $2,000.00. Also, Trinity ’s application was forwarded to
SAR and NGC for consideration.

rshall, junior, Ferrum College majoring in Environmental Science was
awarded a $2,000.00 VFGC Scholarship.

Richa d Ma
y r Kleinsasser, a graduate student in landscape design and attending the
South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, was awarded a $2000.00 VFGC
Scholarship.
T le
uglas Essig, junior, majoring in environmental science at George Mason
University was awarded a $2,000.00 VFGC Scholarship.
Do
s Duellman, senior, graduated with honors from Longwood University and
has been accepted to graduate school at VA Tech as a GTA. He will graduate with
a Master of Science and was awarded a $2,000.00 VFGC Scholarship.
Nichola
y Jones, sophomore, VA Tech, majoring in landscape design was awarded a
$2,000.00 VFGC scholarship.

The
scholarship committee has been contacting all colleges and universities in
their district with VFGC scholarship information.
